Your Money Is Your Responsibility
You’ll see us repeat this multiple times on this site, but it can’t be overstated: We are not experts on personal finance. We enjoy learning, discussing, and debating about it, but we are not professional money-people. All opinions, thoughts, and ideas on this blog are placed here for your informational and entertainment purposes only.
You alone are responsible for the decisions you make with your money. We are not liable in any way, shape, or form for any losses you may incur, real or otherwise, from making decisions based on something you saw on this site. We want you to enjoy what you read here, but treat the information you receive just as you would if you had gotten it from a new acquaintance while talking personal finance over a cup of coffee or a beer.
Monetizing This Blog
You will see ads on this site, some of which we may have no experience with. We are a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for us to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites. Some posts may have links to other affiliates. You may even see sponsored posts.
Remember the goal this site is based around: Get rid of our student loans ASAP.
There are three ways to get there. Make more, spend less, or do both; this site may or may not help us with the “make more” part of that concept.
At its core, the blog is an outlet for us to get our creative juices flowing and talk about a part of our life that is probably all too familiar for most of our readers. If we happen to make a little money on the side doing it, then that’s just a bonus.
One thing we can say with confidence: Any money we do make on this blog that isn’t used to directly grow this site will be put towards our student loan debt; using it for any other reason would make us hypocrites.
